Sheikh Bello was born into a devout Muslim family. His father, Alhaji Bello Ajani, was an Islamic scholar, which greatly influenced young Muyideen’s early interest in Islamic studies.

He attended I.D.C. Primary School and later pursued secondary education in Elekuro, Ibadan. His passion for Islamic knowledge led him to study Arabic and Islamic studies at Mahdul Arabiy, Elekuro, between 1963 and 1967.
