The parts that are there are interesting, there just isn’t enough of it imo. You know what you’re getting in terms of page numbers, at least, but even within what exists some details feel scant.

I could use more about her family, about her views on Mongolia now. I’d like to know more about how she feels about other aspects of American life- she finds Americans confident and she likes modernity, sweet, but there are a million other things to comment on.

Debt, race relations, fast food, obesity, cost of living- it feels like a very barebones first-impression sorta reflection, without a lot of depth.

It’s still worth reading, and I like the insistence on the importance of immigrants, I just wish there was a bit more.. resolve to explore the good and bad of both countries. Also, I don’t take away stars for it or anything, but it’s a bit tough seeing all these companies put forth as if they’re solely good.
