Guus dekkers biography template

Tesco has appointmented Guus Dekkers as its new chief technology officer to replace Edmond Mesrobian who is resigning.

Dekkers will join Tesco on April 16, reporting directly to group chief executive Dave Lewis.

Meanwhile, Mesrobian is returning to his home city of Seattle with his wife Holly and their four children.

Dekkers’ remit is to build on Mesrobian’s work over the last three years, including the strengthening of the grocery giant’s technological capability and to create “innovative retail solutions” for its customers.

Dekkers will make the move to the Big 4 retailer from Airbus, where he spent almost 10 years, most recently as chief information officer and senior vice-president.
